Hello! Our vice-chairwoman has kindly advised me to post the details of the outing in case some of you didn't get my sms.

Basically we will be meeting at 6pm at City Hall MRT (outside Guardian or Breadtalk so we don't get lost in the crowd) on 14/06/2009 and we'll then proceed to Shokudo at Raffles City for dinner. Reservations have been made. We would possibly proceed to the Esplanade after dinner, but we'll see how things go on Sunday.

i don't know how to entice you all to start reading this blog again.

i sat in a flamingo-fashion on my stool and thought for one day and one night. (which is actually one day, but i thought having the night part might impress the idea on you guys more.)

and then i reached an enlightenment of sorts.

based on the Theory of Humankind and Egotism (yapit, 2009), people, regardless of age, like to look at photographs of themselves and see if they look pretty/handsome. if they don't, they'll try all means to find out who the photographer is and murder him.

so i've decided to post some photographs up.

i looked through my album of s12 photos.

i saw this picture of walking ang paos (right now, posing ang paos). and i thought, hmm. auspicious. people say auspicious things are a must, especially when asking people to come to a class gathering.

because our last class gathering was so long ago (about 5 months), i couldn't remember if we had any hot babes / handsome dudes in our class. once again, i searched in my trove of photographs and found this:

ah, so our class did have some hot babes. i was going to push it by saying 'especially the one in stripes' but decided i still want my friends. anyway.

i found 4 reindeers.

no wonder santa didn't want them.

oh, and a happy family picture, as recommended by all disney people. it is absolutely essential to live happily ever after.

- go visit it, it looks quite a nice place, $23.80++ for all-you-can-eat dinner. might be abit pricey for some, so just to kiv. (and admire their cool website)

2. chicken rice at seah street (sher's suggestion)

3. potluck at someone's house (maybe mine. i can book function room)

4. buffet at anywhere that's good!
- people, please suggest! this sounds like a pretty good idea. (courtesy of vincent and another fren of mine)

5. have catering at someone's house and we split the cost.

once upon a time, when shaun was really hungry,

04s12 headed to Vittles at Yishun to have dinner.

they met 5 very gay men who were posing seductively at any camera aimed at them, even helping themselves to all cameras/cameraphones. It was the invasion of the Gay Band Who Can't Really Sing.

fortunately, there were enough hot babes to balance the equation. they smiled sweetly for the camera.

the hot babes spotted a few good men (who were not gay) and sat with them on a long table.

though unfortunately there was one who was caught among the GBWCRS, along with a few good men.

they had a jolly good time, and decided to take a group picture to bring home to show their mummies.

oh ya. and there was a gentleman in orange who came late. the writer (that is, yours truly) has decided to put a big photo of him, lest he complain (yet again) that his face was not in the group photo and request for photoshop.

and they lived happily ever after.

there have been numerous requests for another class outing. considering that jackie's returning on 19th, di's returning on 21st, and i'm returning on the 23rd, i believe the best and most auspicious day will lie in the range:

26th to 30th december 2008.

26th is a friday, and 30th is a tuesday. assuming we're all on holidays, weekdays should be okay also? we're probably going to have a decent dinner (where, i dunno yet. suggestions are welcome).

so, what you have to do:
tag the Retard Board on the right to say which day you prefer, and we'll go with the majority. PLEASE TAG, don't spam sms me. (spam sherwin or sida, can.) haha.
do this by:
10th of december 2008.

Anyway, if you all know how to go yourselves, you can make your way there. There's a carpark there if anyone is driving there. Its $2 per entry.

since Di will head back to the neverland on the 12th Sep. it will just be a simple dinner, because we are simple people with simple needs (eat and gossip).

okay, as you all know, mrs chiew is going to be there. we actually have a gift for her, which is a 30piece puzzle thing with our class photo on it. (don't worry, everyone's face is there. you can go facebook to see, i've uploaded the picture in the "group nj 04s12") sher's doing the printing and buying of frame, and due to the miscellaneous costs (which will include a notebook--lowest price possible--for everyone to write a msg on for chiew), we've decided to lower the budget for the gift exchange to $10 instead of $10-$15. BUT BEFORE YOU SCREAM BECAUSE YOU'VE BOUGHT YOURS and it's, ugh, more than $10, have consolation in the fact that i am in the same boat as you, and we can sob our hearts out together on friday.

How's holidays been for all? Guess the ladies r busy enjoying e term break yep? and majority of e guys have ORDed too! Fret not for those who've yet to, it's only bout 2 more months, so just hang on!

Here's the good news! There'll be a class outing on 28th Dec (next Friday) at around 7pm. Mrs Chiew has informed me that she'll be available, so i'd hope everyone can come! There'll also be a gift exchange(haha! all in the spirit of Christmas!), so make sure u'll come prepared! Not too expensive la( between $10-$15 ), so take note. You'll may also wish to give Mrs Chiew an individual or group farewell gift, so i'll leave that up to everyone to decide on their own.

Anyway, i hope u'll can understand that this is one of the best time we can meet up as a class b4 08' starts. By then everyone will either be working or busy studying, so as much as possible, do try to come! However, if 28th's too inconvenient for the majority of people, i MAY have to postpone to the 29th Dec evening. This is however, just a last resort, but do keep your options open.

Do spread the word around too! Do reply by 23rd of Dec so that i can start making the necessary preparations! Take care and hope to hear from you'll soon!

Hiya s12! :-)

I suppose those who HAVE gotten my sms would be reading my email now. Anyway, yesh, i got e news for my cousin who was in NJ last wk, and there was an announcement Mrs Chiew WILL be leaving NJ this year. Retiring to be exact. in fact, i'd just spoken to Mrs Chiew, and she told me she'd wanted to leave last yr(o gosh!), but college asked her to stay for another year, so yeah, this is our last chance we can say bye bye as a class b4 she leaves.

Anyway, im hoping that we can have a class gathering cum farewell for Mrs Chiew yep? She mentioned that she'll keep me informed about her schedule(she's also clearing leave n all those kinda stuff). She'll also be invigilating the As for Hwa Chong, so the next outing will probably be in Dec, which is the BEST time for everyone. I'll inform u'll about the date again, so do take note!

Meanwhile, i'll need ya'll to bring up ANY ideas that u'll have in mind to me! any way possible la, sms, email, phone, letters, pigeons, catapults, bombs etc. Show our appreciation in a special way possible yeah!

realistic animation, not bad storyline.
there's even a short unrelated animation before that, which is pretty cool.
so even if u're late, the many commercials and that short animation will ensure that you don't miss the movie.

Hi s12!

As most of ya'll know, there'll be a class outing on the 28th July Saturday. Details are as follows

Place: Sentosa
Time:10am onwards
Activities: Anything under the sun! Volleyball, Frisbee, Water games, Cards, Board Games etc.

We'd decided to place it last wk of July coz i noe most of e gals(or ALL i should say) would be going back to Uni first wk of August, so that week would probably be quite inconvenient for them. It's been quite some time since our class went to Sentosa for an outing, so probably thought it would be a good idea too! Anyway, we'll meet up @ 10am Harbour Front MRT, after which we'll head over to one of the beaches at Sentosa. Bring whatever u'd wanna bring(food inclusive). Everything should end in the evening, followed by dinner in Vivo. Meanwhile, i'll plan some other games which we can also play on that day too!

If you'll got any violent objections or suggestions, feel free to msg Ros or me again. Do reply ASAP, latest 27th July(a day b4 our outing), via email/MSN/msg. That's all for now folks! Hope to hear ur reply and see you'll soon! ^_^

Hey everyone! Guess half the population of the class is enjoying themselves ba? I am here just to post a proposal by our dear Joc for the next class outing (in case you haven't heard about it yet). The plan is to go for night cycling on the coming saturday night! Sounds so exciting right? We will meet at around evening time at east coast park to rent our bikes overnight. Then we can go cycle till the next day morning lor. Well the organising is still very much in the initial stage so please tell me if you all can make it or not lor... If the number of people who can make it is decent enough, we will go ahead and plan the cycling route lor. Expect the whole night of cycling with pitstops at all the yummy makan places! (of cos those 24 hrs one) Please tag to suggest where can our pitstops be and what yummy food is there available at night one lor. Yup!

hey guys! before ros went overseas, she gave me a farewell gift - planning of class gathering on 30th hahah. ok anyway, we can't go to diana's house, so i guess it's a class dinner outside? but cos 30th is a sat and it's the eve of new year's eve, it's quite hard to find a place. and soooo, i suggest we go to the venezia restaurant at arts museum, around 7 minutes walk from PS. it's a quiet place, quite empty and the food is not bad (tried and tested). it's posh looking too hah and price is reasonable. heh so how?? tag ur suggestions k! and think of post dinner activities =)

Hi there it's me again if you have guessed. Ok I received some feedback that many people cannot make it on 4th since it is a sunday and should be a family day etc. So I had another idea in my mind now. Our class outing will be held from 5th to 7th december.

We will be going east coast park in the afternoon for a series of cycling (e.g. night cycling) or roller blading etc. Then we will have a bbq in the evening for those who are not free to join us in the afternoon or that you are unable to stay overnight with the class. As for the night, we should be able to spend it over at the place.

We shall head to sentosa for all kinds for beach and water activities and enjoy ourselves. I found several places where we can stay overnight at, such as the two towers or the multi purpose hall so the thing at sentosa should be quite alrite. by 7th you all should be quite tired so you can return home in the morning or early afternoon to rest.

So guys what do u think of this plan? Firstly I noe some people cannot make it overnite or at sentosa so ecp bbq will be the best to gather. Secondly I noe of people who are not free on many days and hopefully these people will not overlap during the time from 5th to 7th. Please think about it and immediately tell me any suggestions or that if u cannot make it for the whole thing...

Oh ya I wanna ask you guys if u all mind a sleepover at sentosa instead of a chalet because I believe we dont have enough time for both a chalet and sentosa after our prom lor. heyy S12. yesterday was kinda the end of our normal-lesson days huh. it's been a long and arduous journey, but we've had our fun-filled days, haven't we? just wanna tell you guys that the best thing that has ever happened to me in nj was to have been part of this class, and to have found friends in all of you. i know school's not officially over yet, cos we've still got the three-days week thing going on after prelims, but i wanna thank you all for making up the important pieces of my jc life. there's really nothing else i could've wished for. it's been so wonderful sharing all those memories with all of you, so thanks. (: ok, got the mushy stuff over and done with. but i meant it all k. haha.
ok, my initial plan was to upload all the photos i took during national day celebrations and on 30/08 into an album. BUT thanks to imagestation, i've tried it twice by the way, i wasted more than an hour waiting so patiently for the pictures to upload only to see a page that says 'error, try again'. so there. another time k? sorryyy people.

Hey class! Guess who is this blogging? Yeah itsh me the brightest one of all in the class... =D

I just wanna tell the class that my church is having services this coming saturday and the following sat. The whole series is entitled "CRAVE!" What do you CRAVE for? There are things like food, wisdom, possesions, fame, pleasure, wealth, fun, acceptance, career, status, love, thrill, attention that people would crave for... If some of you are free after physics on sat and interested to come and visit my church, can find me and tell me about it. Yeah basically my church is Hope Church Singapore located in town la. Saturday afternoon service is for youths, like high school, jc, poly or uni people to attend then sun morning services will be for the adults. Then the two saturdays' service will be filled with exciting performances like song, dance, drama items etc. Yup yup so please come!!! =)

Hmm this seems like an advertisment rite? Haha whatever the case la. It seems that class blog can be a free place to advertise without needing to pay. Yeah man!

Anyway, the class would like to extend our Congratualations to Band(Jun Hao, Crystal,Mabel), Chinese Orchestra(Yue Yiao,Wilson),Choir(Si Da),Harmonica Ensemble(Dawn) that won the SYF Golds and the Gold with Honour for NJ!

Of course, not Forgetting the Dance Groups, Chinese and Malay Dance(Shi Xian and Shi Qin) that won 2 Gold With Honours! Congratualations too! =)

I bet everyone down here has worked their guts out for their SYF, and you all really deserve a good break! haha..u'll not only done NJ proud, but have also done s12 proud too!! So 3 cheers for everyone again! *Cheers*

Anyway, class, i guess it's time for everyone of us, especially those who just finished their SYF, to really settle down n start doing some serious studying. Yup, if u're aren't tt sure, this is the end of week 7, and we're going on to week 8. So really...time is running short.

But fret not pple. U'll still got time to work on ur stuff. It aint TOO late yet! Anyway, for all those who juz ended their SYF, take a good break this weekend, but remember to get back to work this coming week. For the rest of the class, continue to work! =) I know, it's quite stressful at times, but rmb, we're all in the same boat! No one's alone! Seriously, if ya asked me, there's been much improvement in the work attitude of the class! Juz this wednesday(during civics), everyone was doing their maths DRV tutorial. yup...i mean, a few weeks ago, if it were a normal civics period, we would b sitting around talking nonsense. So seriously, there's been some improvement!

s12, dun get complacent, BUT continue to strive to work harder yeah!

Aloha peeps!

Havent written on the blog for some time.
Anyway, i know many tutors have encouraged us to reconsider bout taking 4 subjects etc. Also, 15 of us are in the bottom 25% of the cohort. Pretty demoralizing huh?

People, it's time for us to WAKE UP! Yup..WAKE UP! Slacking time is over! I tink it's TIME we divert all the energy that we put into having fun into doing our work. Come to think of it, we dun really have much time in our hands now.

But people, dun be discouraged k! Even though we aint performing, but looking @ one of our achievements as a class(no..im not being sacarstic), we were promoted as a class in 2004! hey! How's tt for an achievement! I once heard from someone, that our klass is one of those rare years where everyone gets promoted, coz our senior batches always had retainees. If we can work hard to all being promoted, let's all Work Hard to Do Well for our As! ^_^

As for the subject combination, my advice is THINK HARD. Once u made a decision, stand FIRM on ur decision peeps. Being undecisive, and drifting around doesn't help seriously. Dun bother bout what other people say. Most importantly, TRUST in yourself and Don't look back at your decision. The BEST THING is to make the BEST out of ur decision!

Yep! A new year 2005! A New Start for all! I betcha Mrs Cheng sent an sms to all eh? Anyway, let's forget about 2004 and start out new year 2005 afresh, with all our new year resolutions! At the same time, let us strive to achieve our goals that we've set for ourselves in the year ahead, especially for the big A's coming up!

Although we start the year with a sombre tone due to the tragic events that have happened these past couple of days, let us start the new year with renewed Hope! Life has to go on, and we must be forward looking. Never give up Hope, as it is the one thing that can pull you through,even in the toughest hard times.

Anyway, i bet everyone's looking forward to seeing each other again. haha...im also looking forward to working wif u great people again! Again, Have a wonderful 2005 and God Bless ya in the Times to come!

SINGAPORE-it was evening. Reason for gathering was plain and simple—a class chalet outing at Aranda Country Club. Little did the people know that amongst them on the very night, they would discover a discovery so shocking it should have been on discovery channel. A research team headed by probably a polar bear(?!?!) was to conclude that a certain specie of girls are actually—get this—photosensitive.

The similar experiment was carried out 3 times(as of 8.00pm), all proving the same results. Very, vereye sneakily, the boys will remove the card that powers the entire room...only to realise to their amazement that they’ve managed to switch on the SARS, or the Scream Alarm Rapid System. This feminine-sounding siren is found to have emitted from girls with long hair, braces, have a tendency to wear grey collared tops and matching grey skirts during school days, are inclined to be rather bouncy and afraid of lizards(or similarly textured rubberbands found on the floor), and have a mansion to boot. They are the rare specie called dianangiamhahaporasaurs, found only on the island of Singapore. To date, there has been the discovery of only one of these.

Due to hazardous experimental conditions(it was dark for goodness sake), it is not known what other hybrids of this specie were present. It is noted that there were not many audible confessions. However, there is the probability of hybrids such as neoshiqinpotamous, limhuiboonaroo, or even –gasp- sherwinleeeerex!!! (hahaha)

In order to be patriotic citizens who do our part to help the government in any way we can, the female class rep(who, might i add, was calm n cool thru out the experiment)(haha) has come up with a brilliant idea. It is suggested that we situate our marvelous discoveries below lampposts in different areas of our wonderful island of Singapore. Since these fantabulous people are highly sensitive to light/darkness ie photosensitive, should a blackout strike a certain area, the SARS will go off. It is highly effective, and i can guarantee it will be audible enough to awaken not only the slacking peoples in charge and get the lights working again, it will also be sufficient to get PM Lee Hsien Loong to go and SACK THEM!!!!!MUAHAHAHAHAHHAA......(um, ros..)(okok..haha)
